First time painting in over a year and I forgot how therapeutic it is for me. What's funny is i had a hazy idea for a color scheme in my head and couldn't for the life of me remember what character it's associated with. Then when I was done it hit me who I was thinking of.

The Sun Eater: Howling Dark
Way wider in scope & scale than book 1 with one of the craziest climaxes I've seen in something in a while. Most of all it gave me some inspiration for my own novel. Excited to continue from here and see where the series goes

A very personal takeaway from my trip, a book about my family's matriarch, my grandmother; and the history of where we come from. I had no idea she went through all this. My memories of her are of her always having a smile on her face. I've always loved her but now I respect her immensely.

Stood face to face with my father today after over 11 years. The biggest thing that stood out to me is that standing next to him now as a man that's found his confidence made me think "...I used to be scared of this old man"? It's almost amusing.

It's Finals week and I'm actually a little sad my Humanities class is ending. Studying the view points of philosophers through the ages, relearning the French Revolution, studying the impact Charlemagne had on Christianity; this class kinda reignited my passion for art and culture.

It's amazing how feeling bad can just alter things in your brain. Trying to study with a slight fever and I'm almost amused at how impossible it is for me to retain this information right now.

2025 has been my year. I've had more accomplishments, opportunities, and worthwhile first experiences than any other year of my life. Means even more to me after how badly the last couple years have gone. Doing all I can to keep it this way going into 2026.

Today's the 25 year anniversary of Digimon World 2! This was MY Digimon game growing up. Played it more times than I can count and I love it to this day. I didn't even know what a dungeon crawler was back then but it was my introduction to the genre. Can't wait for Time Stranger!
