its easy to dismiss a kirby fan that complains about these sorts of things as being delusional and ungrateful, but it goes deeper. kirby usually doesn't get these kinds of games where seemingly any character has a chance of showing up and being relevant. many one-offs have followings and they rarely get anything of substance. so i understand the frustration and disappointment. would it be enough for me to call the representation of the series overall poor in this game, though? eh, not really. it's much more than i expected from sakurai, even if i wish he did some things better. it is inconsistent and uneven in my opinion, but it does seem like there was a genuine attempt there to please as many types of fans as possible. in this situation id rather try to be sympathetic to those who are disappointed rather than mock them justb ecause you got who you wanted in the game's roster.
