SotR is a devastating & brilliant book, I'm hoping the movie will capture it bc they made alot of serious mistakes with BoSaS adaptation (most recent one) 🤞It probably stands alone but I think you'd really like the original trilogy too & it's fascinating the way Collins has expanded the world

I have no idea, I completely agree with you about it looking ready to go. It's probably very cynical, with their schedule of other movies, profit, etc. The book series is SO GOOD, but the movies are hit or miss, so much of the books is interior monologue which can be hard to translate.
