Where the fuck were the medics? Why the fuck are only ICE medics allowed to work on victims of Gestapic violence? Must they wear masks too?

It's not "super flu". It's that flu isn't "just a flu". People really need to understand about lineage diversity, mechanisms of evolutionary change, and shifting fitness landscapes for the virus. The idea of immunity theft from COVID should be taken seriously also.

Please stop calling the circulating sub-clade K strain of H3N2 a "super flu". It is a strain that drifted through a normal evolutionary process from the strains included in this year's vaccine. It means we are seeing more cases of flu and the vaccine may not work as well in preventing infections.

The highest rate on record.

It staggers me that no-one in public health seems to be acknowledging that immune dysregulation caused by prior SARS-CoV-2 infection is likely a significant factor in this, and the implications of this concept going forward.

It doesn't have to be this way. As governor, I'll raise the minimum wage, put an end to wage theft, and work to end medical debt. We'll build a system where working people can afford to take care of themselves and their families without going broke.

In 2026 there will be more mass media articles and commentators ridiculing people taking precautions to avoid SARS-CoV-2 infection while simultaneously hundreds of pieces of research will be published further demonstrating the long-term harms of infection.

Ignore the ridicule.

Accessibility tools are no one else’s business

You shouldn’t ask someone why they’re masking, just like you shouldn’t ask why they’re using a cane or a wheelchair

If we had succeeded in normalizing masking as a public health tool, this mockery wouldn’t happen.

It needs to stop. Masks save lives.
Disappointed to see Jon Stewart & co joke about masking in public. I do it for my medically fragile daughter (Batten Disease). People not masking properly led to her getting pneumonia, which led to her being on life support, which led to me getting price quotes on her cremation just in case.
