I'm pretty sure the heritage foundation is a problem that predate Trump and MAGA. They just saw an opportunity and grabbed on to it. The Heritage Foundation and what they want is unfortunately a running theme in the history of USA.

Yup. It's a surreal experience. In those few seconds, you kinda come to terms with your mortality and morbidly as this might sound, my first thought was, if this is it, this is it. And it that moment, I found peace.

Well, I guess "hundreds" is something. But tbh, the complete surrender from the American public to the Oil industry et al that "climate change is a hoax!" and that "Even if it isn't a hoax, we want cheap gasoline" is kinda a sign of the times.

I've had lymphoma, and thankfully it was discovered early and treatable. But, even in that moment when I was told that I had Lymphoma, my first instant thought was ( even before the doc told me that they could treat this ) "If this is deadly, let me go out on my own terms as painless as possible."

At this point ( even though I'm not even American ), I'd rather have a principled ex-Republican who have stood up to Trump for years and now running as a Democrat, than a lifelong centrist Democrat that folds at every corner.
