Dammit! My memory. Yall help me find a friend in the trch community who started planning a multilingual conference in Arizona a few years ago.

Inspired by a chat with @bajoran.engineer at #PyTorchCon, I wrote up my thoughts about #Python as a scripting engine for apps.

Shares appreciated, commentary welcome but if you're a jerk I'll block you 😇

Maybe of interest to @anacondainc.bsky.social as well ✨

I have a few friends who appreciate American football and basketball who live elsewhere. I'm getting them Sixers and Eagles merch!!

Allen Iverson and Jalen Hurts, respectively.

But once Philly gets a women's basketball team, that's all anyone is getting for any chrisma-hanna-kwanz-ica-bday.

Last keynote of the year is on Monday and I figured out a fantastic idea for 2026 keynotes. It's circling around mental health and spoons and the next great Developer experience evolution coming to Python and not internalizing broken environments.

Tell your conf team I'm open for scheduling in 2026

Fun article about “outsider” scientists and their breakthroughs.

“Academia filters most funding, publishing, and hiring decisions through senior insiders, which favors ideas within existing paradigms.”
