I didn't read comics growing up outside of Frank Miller and Alan Moore. This year I have tried to expand my knowledge with Judge Dredd, plus authors like Daniel Clowes and charles Burns. Everything I have read rocks, but I feel like a guy hearing Napalm Death or Elliot Smith for the first time.

I somehow got off the train at Laytown instead of waiting one more stop to Drogheda? And then when I got off the train there was a large crowd gathered in the town square? And they nearly immediately started a countdown and turned on the village Christmas lights? This feels significant.

I recorded side A of our split to a cassette using my Tascam and flipped the tape to record side B and realised in real time that the 4 track records to 4 tracks. I fucked around with trying to record side B in reverse but fucked it up so bad I have to do it all again tomorrow 👍 diy means diy
