Over the last week, British flags have been cable-tied to nearly every lamppost in my town.
So many British flags that it doesn’t look like Britain. It looks like 1930s Germany.
It makes me afraid. My anxiety is through the roof. I feel fighty when I go out now and look at everyone with suspicion.
