For a limited time, the airline will offer flights to six destinations the airline does not currently serve from FLL: Bozeman, Montana (BZN); Denver (DEN); Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW); Reno–Tahoe, Nevada (RNO); Salt Lake City (SLC); and Jacksonville, Florida (JAX). Additionally, as the top leisure carrier in New England, JetBlue will add a special flight connecting Portland, Maine (PWM) with Fort Lauderdale five times a week from April 16, 2026 – April 27, 2026, for Patriots’ Day. These select routes meet strong two-way travel demand during the peak spring period. As travelers of all ages head to South Florida for the sunshine and beaches, the added flights also give South Florida-based customers more opportunities to escape to top ski destinations, outdoor recreation areas, and adventure markets

JetBlue has issued an updated wavier that indicates if you cancel and choose a credit instead a refund, they’ll give 2,000 bonus points (about $20-30).
They also indicate it’s an uncontrollable situation and won’t offer additional hotel rooms, meals, and transportation.
