my brother has been troubleshooting his PC (freezes at login screen) for almost 2 hours
second time this year a Windows update breaks his computer to be unusable. you can't disable updates.

In our case, since it extends to the country, we’re all Mexicans (country), some are Mexicanese (state), and some Mexique (Spanish “Mexiqueño”, city)

Hubble captures the spiral galaxy NGC 2841, 46 million light-years away in Ursa Major. Its bright core, dust lanes, and blue stars stand out, but fewer emission nebulae suggest lower star formation. Fiery young stars likely cleared the remaining gas.

Saw this IG post from @culturecritic.bsky.social that saddens me the more I think about it. Because while it’s about the design of ordinary things it really speaks to the design of everything, and how racing toward blandness in things and people is a symptom of a bland, dying culture.
