The UK really shit the bed voting against AV when they had the chance. Even if it wasn't perfect, pretty much anything is better than FPTP, and it is core behind a lot of the politics today

Yeah, Vannes, Dragons, Newcastle etc in there - would give them some wins too which would be welcome! I was wondering if groups of 5 would work - keep 2 homes but have a bye week to assist with travel to/from SA. Then straight to QFs = 8 weekends as today

If they could get some prize money involved, I could see the benefits of having three tiers in Europe, but less dicking about to get to the pointy end of tournaments

Honest Q here - is there a scenario where the SA sides are better off just giving Europe a miss completely? The travel is nuts, and at least with URC it is scheduled well in advance in blocks. Does the extra money not just disappear on travel and hotels?

Can't disagree with you there, Nash has been excellent lately. For all the moaning it is noticeable no Hendy or PoM in the 23.
