....okay I think my scaling is starting to look right but man the state of gear ports is so inconsistent that I have to keep tweaking it per outfit, and there's a lot of clipping. Very happy that I figured out how to reposition limbs to reduce clipping at rest, though.

And Yabuqa... he's another case where my priorities and comfort levels depicting fat characters evolved considerably over the years. Unlike Aumeric, I consider a lot of my older art for him non-canon? Like he was only that skinny as a teenager if at all.

Aumeric started close to on-model, but I pretty quickly realized I enjoyed giving him thicker thighs. It's been a years-long evolution to draw him bigger as my comfort levels and priorities changed, and it should be noted that these changes were in-character and part of his development.

Guin is pretty fat! I initially drew him more pear-shaped (back when the game didn't have male viera and I was working off the fem model) but shifted to more of an apple shape in more recent art- more belly than chest or hips. Either way, he was always meant to be big and soft.

So I have an entire character lineup for this! (Slightly outdated in some cases) Which is a nice jumping off point for talking about them and which ones I sort of immediately settled on and which ones took some time to arrive at.
