"i've wanted to for a little while establish that my 2 fursona designs aren't like, the same guy with different fur patterns, they're both very metaphorical and allegorical in nature for me; they're both v personal and relating to my bipolar disorder. i frequently feel like 2 different guys in one body and i designed the blue one, which i've just been calling "the werewoof" to represent euthymia (stability period) and my baseline depression, that sort of chill but almost apathetic feeling i tend to sit in. the black n red one, which I call "the self-made man" is more of the "extreme" ends of my disorder, i designed it primarily to represent mania/hypomania but were i in a more depressive mood lately i would maybe be using him for vent art there too. they look cobbled-together because that's kind of what it feels like, disparate parts stapled together that i'm constantly having to pull together. unstable and constantly having to be held together so i seem "sane" to other people and they don't treat me like shit. that's also why the red one is more animalistic. it's kind of ironic that The Werewoof is more man-dog and The Self-Made Man is more dog-man lol

I'm doing More redesigns of v old characters and I can't decide if I want the gay little serval to be blue or orange, and the transmasc chaos porcupine to be a fucking unit or small. I want more body diversity in the project but the thing is I already have so many jokes written abt them being Smal

I also did some character design stuff late late late last night, redoing some critters from my 2022 senior film :3c here's Vex the Foxcat, Unknown the Raccoonthingy, and Vitriol the Ferretbear. haven't decided what the other half of Unknown's genetics is, it used to be porcupine but I may mix it up
