Late #WIPWednesday, but I'm breaking my game's level design right now as I'm resizing each area to be 30x30 instead of 25x25 to have room for more things. And there's also a small thing that was added in the middle of the scene 👀

Added a bit of 'shading' to the panels of my new puzzle game so it is easier to visualize how the rhombuses patterns match the 3d platforms.

Also, I'm currently working on a Steam page, it should come out next week if everything goes well.

Really love working on those panels. It's only been 15 days since I started this project but every time I have to touch their code, it has to be to make them more complex (so they've got more use cases), which of course turns into breaking them.

Progress is going well on my gmtk game, now current production. Got the first 4 areas of the game done for a rough length of ~25 minutes (vs 10-15 mins for the jam version), as well as the mechanics for the next couple areas working.

I'll post the new demo in a few days on itch.

I'm continuing the 1st person puzzle game I started in #gmtk game jam to see where it can go. Already cleaned up, rearranged and reworked the existing 3 areas a bit. Next will be making a 4th area.

Made a first person puzzle game for this #gmtk jam.

You rotate 2d Rhombuses on a panel to move 3d platforms. Here's a showcase of it with toy-sized blocks.

And if you want to play with those small blocks too, you'll have to reach the end of the game.

Only 15 days left before release. I'm adding the last QoL features such as unlocking levels as whole chapters instead of one by one so they don't have to be completed in a strict order if you're stuck on one.
