I think everyone was isolated in 2020 so it was like everyone was in it together, but now people aren't anymore so now everyone's isolated apart and it's felt more, if that makes sense?

As long as the Republicans control the House and Johnson is Speaker, they probably wouldn't be able to bring it up for vote.

Have you read A Suitable Boy? (It's super long, but really good.)

I get it! I hope they stay safe! ❤️

Oh, okay. I'll stop refreshing the page then. 😅
I'm really looking forward to reading it!

Congratulations! Is the paperback going to be for sale again also? (Sorry, it's just much harder for me to read ebooks.)

And basically done! (I just need to back it on wood so she can hang it up.)

I liked the majority of it, but absolutely hated the Jimmy Olsen storyline. I had some other quibbles, but that's the part I liked the least. I'd be interested in seeing what they do next. Overall, I would give it either 2.5 or 3 stars out of 5.

Getting closer! I have about 2" left to finish and I want to see if I can make the telescope look better.

This week's update!
(Since this is smaller than I anticipated, I probably could have done this width all at once, but that's what happens when you're making it all up as you go! 😅)

Amongst other things: when Mitch is trying to make instant pudding and he thinks he needs to add a egg because he hasn't read to the end of "egg beater" in the directions.

This is the second in a series of mask-required concerts with air purifiers and everything, and the first one sold out, so you might want to get your tickets sooner rather than later. 😊

I'm very excited about this. 😁

The concert will be taking place at Abrons Arts Center on the Lower East Side of Manhattan at 7 PM on Thursday, August 21, 2025.

If you can't make it in person, no worries, there will also be a livestream!

The piece is going to be a bit shorter than I planned, but I'm done with the height (by my sister's-in-law request) and I'm about to start the width!

I do expect to be present at the second concert in the series? Rumor has it that that one's gonna feature some folk singer/songwriters.

I just hope it doesn't conflict with the night this August that I, a folk singer/songwriter, am supposed to be playing a concert in New York.

...oh, wait. Huh.
