We've had communist parties serving as the Kremlin's puppets for longer than russia itself had a communist party, now we also have right-wing populist shitheads echoing the Kremlin's new brand of nationalism with all these Z-isms, like the French Eric Zemmour's party and youth branch.

Europe has been infiltrated by russia for far longer than the US. Part of Soviet occupation is the russification/sovietisation of society, forced internal displacement, enmeshing into everything of civil society, from the top downwards and securing police, military administration.

Gratitude doesn't pay rent, utilities etc.

You know this. You know it's so bad in the US social ecosystem that doing the right thing turns you into a fool. As if you're "losing out" on a chance to profit by being nice.

Hear me out....

Haley with this would allow her to show off that pretty tummy.

Pretty okay stuff all things considered, but I'm not much of a fish person.

Also... People were opening it in open air? INSANE
November 27, 2025 at 10:50 PM
Was introduced to the stuff from a young age thanks to a family member's closeness to Sweden (dated a girl, knew the family etc).

Absolutely baffled by the bulging cans and slurry that youtubers were eating, especially when I've only ever seen it in little fillets like your second picture.

I didn't know russian storage units were explosion proof. The last few months of Ukrainian strikes proved that notion false— as for production, sure, you can produce as much as you want but if it gets blown up before it's fired, does it matter? No.

But this admin is too stupid.
November 27, 2025 at 10:01 AM
When you're intellectually dead, even a matter-of-fact statement such as "good morning, isn't it?" is difficult to understand.
November 27, 2025 at 9:54 AM
Not only is it disgusting, it is profoundly inhumane.

Events such as what is happening in Ukraine since 2014 are no betting matter nor should we have such a passive role in them.

We should actively condemn russia, demand justice be done, and persecute all involved in the occupation and killing.
November 27, 2025 at 9:50 AM
Astounding that they're so laissez-faire.
If anything I feel vindicated that they -are- indeed morons.
November 25, 2025 at 10:49 PM
"Couple of Allies" being what, Hungary and Slovakia?

Fuck 'em. These (us, not them) are democracies. We win by the majority.

The russified minority should not have a voice until they cut all ties with the Kremlin.

The UK is not included in the talks about the EU-led plan as Brexit effectively made them, as Dugin (rotten bastard) wrote: "a floating alien island off Europe"

So this is just Starmer trying to be relevant in a situation where he isn't by just shouting nonsense. Very Lavrov-esque of him.
November 25, 2025 at 1:35 PM
Never did. Aggressors don't have bargaining chips, they're gambling with nothing based on what they /might/ get after an expensive, lengthy investment of all sectors economic, human capital, military, etc.

Easier to implement and coordinate without NATO, has no veto power.

Consider it a defensive pact/alliance with a slew of other organisations at its back, like EUROFOR, Europol, BCE, EC(...).

While NATO would be ideal, it's also not enough to make things happen right now.
November 25, 2025 at 11:43 AM
Well he could actually say it, instead of distancing himself from the words and saying ondirectly "yeah I stand by it".

To me the nuance is that this response is a walkback typical of populist characters.

I think that the shifts in frontline have slowed down considerably and have been increasingly more costly to russia. It cannot keep the war covert at home AND keep feeding people to the meatgrinder.

For all intents and purposes, russia is being far more and more deeply attritted than Ukraine.
November 23, 2025 at 3:12 PM
The Soviets also did not de-occupy the land between Germany and russia. It aligned with their imperial-era expansionist goals and revanchist ideals and, like opportunists, they took it.

Ask anyone from post-soviet states, all will tell you occupation delayed them culturally, socially, economically
November 23, 2025 at 3:09 PM
I think it's Impossible to know. However, given how important matters of host-guest relations were in the time of the WW1 period, it would have been greatly appreciated and taken in a positive light.

To be clear, the Soviets occupied Germany first, looted, raped and pillaged AND covered it all up.
November 23, 2025 at 3:09 PM
No worries!
It's because of the knock-on effects of the Versailles treaty that we include aggressors in negotiations, but let's not be under illusions: it's only slightly more than symbolic.

russia WILL have to concede defeat, eventually.
1.5million lost, billions in USD wasted, numerous crimes
November 23, 2025 at 1:30 PM
To note: Germany was not allowed to negotiate on the Versailles Treaty.
November 23, 2025 at 1:04 PM
It's this humilliation that prompted a very nationalistic feeling of anti-guilt that became the basis for the Nazi Party (that and anti-communism).

Ideally we want Russia to admit guilt, pay reparations, get out of Ukraine and be left to deal with the internal fallout. Probably will collapse.
November 23, 2025 at 1:02 PM
No. They signed an Armistice which basically meant an end to armed conflict. Woodrow Wilson made a speech and proposed 14 points for peace, which were the basis for the Conferences in Paris that produced the Treaty of Versailles which didn't just define the end of the war but humiliated the aggresor
November 23, 2025 at 1:02 PM
What a weird question. Are you trying to go for a "gotcha"?

Included, of course. Did you forget that Wilhelm Keitel signed the German Instrument of Surrender?
