Sometimes people come in & ask for a manager but they have no idea how complicated that question is. Every department has its own manager plus the director and deputy director, and they don't keep us apprised of their meeting schedules, so usually all I can offer is a phone #. 🤷♀️

This morning I was 5 minutes late to work because we had to drop Husband's car off to get a mirror fixed, and then I had to drop him off to get his ribs X-rayed.

So glad I stopped at two kids. I'm on my second round of managing hormonal tween emotions and I don't think I could do it again 😅

I can't see my own butt so I don't know if it's bruised, but my wrists definitely are. My mom gave me some kind of hemp cream that's supposed to help pain, so I'm trying it. I can't really tell if it's helping yet but it smells like VapoRub so I am optimistic.

Further skating rink update:
So, I fell on my ass. But it was NOT my fault. A kid wiped out and sideswiped my skate. So my tailbone and wrist joints are gonna be sore for a while.
Worth it.

Fifth-grader is at a skating party. Every time we do one of these, I want to throw on some skates & hit the rink (being a child of the 80s, when skating was like breathing). But I still haven't met my insurance deductible for the year 🙁

My little guy (well, 11) needs dental surgery 😥 I feel bad, like he inherited his dental issues from me, but the husband's mouth was also screwed up when he was a kid so I guess he got from both of us. At least he gets off for winter break 2 days early?.
