This month, I challenged myself to write A LOT OF WORDS. It was mostly a rewrite of an old project, so I knew it'd go faster, but I wasn't sure if I'd really hit my goal.
Yesterday, I did it. With 2 days to spare, I hit 90,000 words. But I still need about a week at a 3k/day to finish this book.

When boycott waves happen, I haven't seen uptick in Kobo or B&N - I just see drops in all sales.

There are hundreds of reasons why I married my husband, but the fact that in the last weeks he'd made phone calls for me so that I don't have to would be a reason to marry him again.
He does all the things that I don't enjoy doing. Except for working out. That's still on me. :)

I actually had to go to a dictionary today, because it's the second time I've seen someone from indie publishing use the word "detrimental" as if it meant something positive ("crucial," "important," etc.), and I was starting to doubt myself.

I did not have my chair breaking in my bingo card for this week.
Given, it's some 7 years old, with some 14h/day use, and it survived at least 3 apartment moves, but... I just don't want to be shopping for a new chair right now. Or, really, ever. Everything seems expensive but cheaply made.
