Today, I'm sharing an image that became an illustration for Memories of Sorcery and Sand. While this standalone fantasy isn't a romance, one of its themes is falling in love at possibly the worst time and with the wrong person, with a relationship built on lies and deception.

I found some of the advice (especially the one about the candy) to be very useful ;), so I'm sharing it with you.
What else would you add to this list?
Text: Halloween reminders. Discard any candy that has been cursed. In the event you're magically transformed into your costume, do not panic. It'll probably be pretty fun. Discard any candy that looks at you funny. In the event your soul is stolen, bummer. Try to enjoy your night anyway. Eat some candy. Honestly, it's kinda like your appendix, you don't use it as much as you'd think. Discard any candy that speaks in ancient languages. That just can't be good. Have fun! This world is a nightmare. Enjoy every chance for whimsy whenever you can.

This mummy is one of my more recent creations that started as, yes, you guessed it, testing the model I bought. But it didn't mean I couldn't put it in a dynamic pose (and posing that pendant was a challenge in and of itself) and have fun with post-work, right?

Before it destroyed us in the end, the affliction enhanced us. I wasn’t sure I’d give up my magic and the skills I’d worked hard to learn only to be considered “cured.” As long as I knew the affliction wouldn’t claim me in the end, I was fine with who I was… with what I was.

This render was fun. I was saving it for Halloween because of its theme, but I actually made it for an April Fools contest in which we had to use those little adorable creatures... that might not be as cute as everyone thinks, and this is what I came up with.
