This is how I somewhat keep myself sane when navigating lots of busy projects. Having a consistent note system across all of them is something that really helps my aging brain. I use AnyType for this with a project template that I always start from. The template consists of three main elements 🧵

As someone who was a kid in the 90s, I had a lot of nostalgic fun working on time specific sounds in Men in Black: Most Wanted set in the same era. Nothing flashy about it, but I really enjoyed trying to make interactions with stuff like VHS tapes feel tactile and how I remember them #sounddesign

Making dynamic weapon reloads feel satisfying in VR is a fun challenge. I had a lot of fun working on the shotgun for Men in Black: Most Wanted, especially making the VR interactions feel good - flicking, inserting shells and how the weapon moves in the player’s hands

I love adding environmental details like this dangerous goop that can be found in the sewers in Men in Black: Most Wanted. Nothing fancy, but it adds so much to the immersion to me.

Needed to set random automation values for a bunch of items in Reaper and was able to whip a script together that does it automatically since I couldn’t find anything doing just that. Gotta love how much we can customize Reaper! #gameaudio #reaperdaw

Love how much can personalize Reaper. Record a lot of impro sessions with my band and sometimes forget to arm tracks or have the wrong audio device selected. No more! 😌 Made a script that checks if all tracks with !! in the names are armed and if Fireface 800 is selected as audio device #gameaudio

I am looking for the Driver for my good old TC Studio Konnekt 48 interface but it isn't available on the TC webpage anymore😢Does anyone know of places to look for old drivers? I normally only use it with ADAT to add extra channels for my Fireface but need to configure some routing on it #sounddesign

One last quick nvk_CREATE experiment with splitting the result into low, mid and highs, morphing low and mids with the high layer for glue. Got some nice simple neutral-ish poofy building blocks for magic designs #gameaudio

Been recording with drop rigs the last month trying to capture some rare autumn bird song. Not a lot of success, but here are some nice outtakes. Distant pigeon take off, car honks and crow caw (heavy denoised) #sounddesign

Once again I forgot to press record on my D100 on a overnight drop rig. Hate that double press to record, it is just too complex for my brain. Do people have any tricks for making absolutely sure you are recording? #fieldrecording
