Not demure. Not mindful. Nobody gives less of a fuck than me.

That’s a job you can take when you have a spouse or you have wealth. Or you have 6 roommates.

You know how some cities and towns have a Main Streets?

How bout I found out some of the executive directors only get paid like $50k a year. Some even less than that.

Can you imagine? I’d rather go work at the damn CVS!
November 26, 2025 at 3:47 AM
That’s exactly why. I can tell you straight up that I would NEVER work at a nonprofit that doesn’t have money. I don’t care how mission-oriented I am. I’ve seen job postings of director level jobs at $70k.

Most ppl who have to work for a living cannot afford that.

Maybe they think ppl should do it for free. And that’s a big part of why wages at most nonprofits are trash. It’s really only larger organizations or those with assets that can pay employees living wages. Bc the public and donors think ppl should be working as a passion project aka no money lol

Imagine not even having a base of $1 million to run a 5 BILLION dollar national company with 600 employees. Are you fucking kidding me? 💀
November 26, 2025 at 3:30 AM
If you wanna know the truth, she’s crazy to do that job for that base salary. Ain’t no fucking way. And I mean NO fucking way.
November 26, 2025 at 3:29 AM
People think that because nonprofits are mission-oriented charitable organizations the people that lead them and work there are not supposed to get paid.

Newsflash: nonprofits are companies. What’s different is they don’t pay profits to shareholders.

You gotta pay for talent. End of story.

I don’t even know anything about feeding America or the CEO. So if the CEO is making that kind of money and not doing the work, then go off.

But you are not getting ANYONE to take on the headache of running a multi billion dollar company with hundreds of employees for a lil salary. Please.
