Netanyahu just compared, standing next to Merz, the necessary "deradicalization" of Gaza with that of Nazi Germany post WW2.
Netanyahu welcomes German Chancellor to Jerusalem. It is offensive to see the European Union flag used there.

So it seems the claim of 30% increase in judicial review in 2025 was based on the number to 26 June & *a guess* at a number for July to Dec (which wasn’t fact checked & is wrong)

.. & that erroneous claim is the entire justification for govt plan to limit access to the courts #Speirgorm #Planning

Judicial review plans are an attack on justice
The Government is burying the public consultation for drastic new rules limiting access to the courts over the Christmas period — don't let them away with it

No wonder the Government sought to evade pre leg scrutiny of a bill they plan to rush through b4 Christmas so they can try again to ratify trade deals with #ISDS style clauses in them like #CETA
It's not in the #publicinterest as today's shadow scrutiny facilitated y @lnbdublin.bsky.social showed
Today the combined opposition did our own scrutiny of the bill to fully ratify #CETA - since Fianna Fáil & Fine Gael have blocked any scrutiny of it in the Dáil!

The message from the legal academics was clear- there is zero benefit to the public in signing up to investor courts
