The global media dominance of the US and to some extent the west in general contributes to a depressing dynamic wherein people in the middle east grow up somewhat exposed to US pop culture (or even niche subcultures), develop various emotional connections with the art and the people who make it, and then later get bombed by those same people who can’t spot your country on a map

The notion that opinion of Western White Feminists has any significant contribution in convincing the average American to go to war in Iran (as opposed to national security, which is always at the center) is hilariously naive and I’m afraid this tweet is just anti-feminism.
