This yarn was from this year’s February yarn club skein. The yarn club is so wonderful-bits of history with gorgeous yarn. Plus I get to try yarns and colors out of my normal box, and make wonderful things.

It's meticulous work but worth it for you all. This month's yarn is 100% merino in DK/multi-ply weight yarn (210m/100g).”

Knitting project in progress. Knitting is a burgundy and grey cowl, with a pattern of bird skulls. 🧶”We are all made of star stuff” This knit made me 😊from beginning to end. As soon as I saw @isasaxonists.bsky.social yarn that was inspired by the Sagittarius Galaxy I knew exactly what needed to be made with it. My yarn bowl by @amyraehill.bsky.social was the perfect holder for this galactic yarn.

Taking a break from doomscrolling to share my latest side-quest knitting project. I’ve decided knitting’s main quest is warm and/or soft fluffy things and Republic of Yarnia’s monthly subscription provides fun side-quests. 🧶

I was so excited to receive my Sagittarius Satin yarn from @isasaxonists.bsky.social and get started on my project for it but this little stinker has other ideas for the yarn and how dare I ask him to move. 🧶😻

🧶Realized I didn’t include any photos of the full length, the details don’t show as well-but it does highlight the beautiful variegation of the yarn. Bonus- my ever present helper with all arts and crafts.

🧶My 1st knitted cables! (4th scarf) The good thing about being a beginning knitter is not always reading correctly how much yarn is needed- so I have more than enough of @isasaxonists.bsky.social wonderful yarn to make a shawl with what I had left over (which is my current WIP).
