Going from TerraFirmaGreg to GTNH has been... an experience.
Part of the appeal of TFG for me is that things made sense, and you could intuit what you needed to do based on real life (fire started from sticks, charcoal made in a covered pit, glass blown from viable sand mixed with additives).

Literally nothing has changed, I'm just feeling so damn burnt out between school, work, and personal projects.

There’s been a nice overall whimsy that has shown up. The frog is amazing. We had a bunch of other inflatable people here last night, too. I saw people playing Twister the other day.
What they rely on is fear. So by coming out in an absurdist manner, it speaks to them, to some extent, that we’re actually not that afraid.
It also dismantles their narrative a little bit. It's morbidly funny to me that so many AI-oriented startups have a business model that encourages their users to have a parasocial relationship with their product, and dissapointing that a large portion of gen-z don't seem to notice nor care.

Finally took the time to turn my old Windows spanned volume into an LV. Hopefully it results in some performance gains, but at the very least, it's nice to not have to wrestle with NTFS anymore.

It's usually much easier to get someone who's tech illiterate to compromise their account and pivot from there than to do a frontal attack on a server.

Something silly I noticed recently is that disabling youtube watch history disables the home feed, but does not prevent YT from recommending videos outside of subs after other videos.
So they purposefully disable one method of accessing a feature when you disable watch history
