Look, I acknowledge I could be wrong about this take. But the alternative is that he has laughable poor control over the members of his party. That almost feels worse.

As someone whose family has been living those real costs for 40 days I feel absolutely betrayed. If this is how they were going to proceed, we didn’t need to be subjected to this for 40 days. Just do it on day 1.
