gacha in specific is one that pisses me off because god fucking damn the stories in the gachas i play (genshin/hsr/wuwa) are GREAT but no one looks their way because they're gachas. they are predatory by nature. but the stories are SO fucking good and it's so upsetting.

being on puerto rico tiktok is a whole other beast cause i see so many posts mourning and being like 'what would it have been like if they never came' and i sit with that thought a lot.

like, my ocs suffered already. going through the msq they suffer enough. they lose people. they get hurt. they worry and fear and fight on and on and on. why do i gotta add MORE onto that.

like yes i appreciate and love darker stories and themes and whatever but if the story's just misery porn i don't want it. at some point if sadness and pain is all you know it just becomes 'tuesday' without joy and levity in between to remind you of what that feels like.
