Oct 13th was declared Indigenous People's day in California and this mention of the Taíno in this proclamation really hit me hard. I rarely see my ancestors mentioned outside of Puerto Rico so this was lovely sentiment to see

And my vitamin D deficiency is probably getting worse because of the lack of medication. I ran out of my Vit D prescription months ago. And I can physically feel it. :/

Bloodwork now would cost me almost $550. Hopefully with the new insurance I’m part of (thanks to my husband’s workplace) I’m able to get seen sooner rather than later but I’m very tired. I’m barely on my PC these days. And my health anxiety is through the roof.

I apologize for getting real on the timeline but I won’t have proper medical insurance that’s widely accepted until Nov. 1st. My current insurance I have to pay everything out of pocket for as well as $30 a month.
I haven’t been able to get bloodwork done since January.

Medical debt is so fucking exhausting.
It genuinely is.
And with so much shit going on I don’t wanna ask people to donate to me when there’s better things to give that money to. And even going past that, like, people are already struggling to survive on their paychecks as it is.
