I’m just here for the decentralized chaos. Offering unsolicited opinions.
Regina downtown is one of the worst. Less parking lot, more pedestrian and bike friendly. That would have made it a vibrant place for families to come. That indeed would have encouraged businesses to open their joints there. There is no motivation at the moment. I wouldn't waste my money.

I always feel that council is disconnected from the needs of common people. And, this is not just this council.

Lol 😆

Anyone would be sitting in that room. Some may even end up questioning their life choices lol 😆

Put out the list of all projects and associated costs on the big screen, debate and place them in order of importance. Cut the projects that you can live without (for now). Come back to it at a later time in future. They have no money but want to fund projects at the expense of taxpayers #yqrcc

This whole city is one big parking lot. If it were not for a cold and windy weather people would buy a lot, setup a tent and live there. That would be cheaper than living in a house.

I am not an expert or anything but isn't an incremental increase a possibility. Raise a little bit to fund a certain operation, once that seems stable put into another. I am not sure if that is even possible.

There is a reason why Mayor says "something" to you because you go off on a tangent.

City approved sprawling, approved money that they didn't have on projects, subsidized orgs which can't explain what they do. They didn't think how it would impact the mill rate down the line. How is that City employees' or any other operational areas fault?

Lol 😆

There you go. What's better than coming out an expert's mouth, someone who went to school to study the subject.

Council has always been obsessed with Saskatoon. They compare the numbers and population. There are other aspects that makes it different as well like geology.

Cut REAL out. We are paying for their lack of ability. Some councillors mentioned Transit investment will take approx 50 years to break even. How many years will REAL take to break even? It is a never ending pit. I'm not a numbers guy but that would bring down the mill rate. #yqrcc

They always do. They always come back, you can't expect 4 people to pick up the work of that one individual in addition to the job they're already doing.
December 16, 2025 at 3:54 PM
Honestly they should just pass it. Why spend an entire day, putting people through the agony of being in that room when their words are going to fall on deaf ears.
December 16, 2025 at 3:51 PM
Asking this police would mean that they will be forced to send it back. Also, know that the Mayor, Tsiklis and Radons are on BPC so even if it were sent back it would have come back as the same. #yqrcc

"I will be myself, that's why my constituents elected me"

One special guy said that.

No one knows what would it take to stop this. Maybe a leadership that realizes not everything that RPS asks for needs to be approved.

He wanted to cut routes because it wasn't making dollars but EDR has more impact than dollars. FOOLS
