I almost got into a fix for sharing my thoughts. I won't call it trouble but was told that I should be careful because some on here were able to identify who I was. People above me just wanted me to be careful. A kind individual asked me to change up things and continue.

Doesn't council love to contracting things out? As for Clr Bezo asking how to find efficiency, the efficiency can be found if you listen to the staff. They need things to do their job but not enough funds to do them. Find efficiency bringing down the plane from the sky. #yqrcc

Bringing companies into the province should be provincial govt's job. The ED organizations just hang onto the coat tails of the province and go to trade shows in different countries to promote the place but province needs to put in the actual work, and cities can feed off of it. #yqrcc

City employees have a discount program and I believe it costs about $880/year. That is so much cheaper than taking out car for work everyday. #yqrcc

RPS is the only entity that is doing a good job, navigating complex scenarios while others sit and chill. Others are taking cuts they don't deserve. Council shows no respect to the City admin and the work they do. I have never heard them thank the employees for the work they do. #yqrcc

A common thing that I have been hearing today is if RPS can be funded then why isn't Fire being funded that way. Many feel (and I feel that too) that Fire's response time is way better than RPS. Most say that Fire is usually first at the site, then EMS and lastly RPS. #yqrcc

Does anyone know how much funding does City's Fire Department receives? They have a quicker response time than RPS in my opinion but not adequately funded.

Councillor Bezo was so keen on putting a hiring freeze. Shouldn't the same apply to RPS. Council were willing to put a stop to hiring 40 fire fighters. What about RPS?
Honestly if the City goes about nitty gritty of what City does then RPS reasoning has nothing.
