listening to the universe chatter in the radio 📡. coding to decode the cosmos 💻. fast radio bursts and pulsars. he/him/his.
Pretty sure he has Neuralink, be a bit of a shame if someone hacked it, and fried his brain. Just saying.

I felt this one in my bones.

At least for rotation-powered pulsars one could tie the fact that they pulsate to the fact that they spin, but I do agree that an in-depth explanation is tough since we still don't understand their emission mechanisms. You do what you can with what you have, right?

Would love to be included. I work on FRBs and pulsars in the radio.

Hi, just saw this old post wen I got directed to the instructions by your bot. Just wanted to know which subjects/sub-fields you had in mind for these feeds? I, for one, would love a radio astronomy specific one.

I program in Julia as well, mostly as part of my research. Feel free to add me, although I am not very active on here.

I heard the drama about this somewhere in the distance on the hellsite. Glad to see a calm, methodical, and clear take on the science of it all.

You did say your code doesn't notify when one gets validated, but is there a way one can find out, apart from adding the emoji and seeing if the post makes it to the feed?

that happens sometimes, could be a long chain before it got into the hands of the spammer. just report and block, and repeat.
