Used is always smart but I am stupid so idk if I'll be smart. The Sony you recommended on initial look seems to be a good choice for beginners, me, so it'll remain a top choice.

I just looked up the Sony, it's on sale for $800 rn, which isn't too bad. I'll look into it more when I get home. 👀
And yeah Fujifilm cameras look so good, which honestly plays into my purchasing decision more than it should lol

At first I wasn't really interested in video performance, but finding something good for the occasional vlog could be cool. Honestly as long as the camera stills have more character than a smartphones HDR fried over processed look then I'll be cool with it.

Yeah, I'm gonna do a lot of research. My brother has a Leica, I think he got it when he was in Germany, but it made me want a camera since I want to travel more now. The thing now is figuring out how much I'm willing to spend. Lol

Yeah, cameras in general just seem to be in a weird place. A lot of the ones on sale are really old, or old models that got a rerelease due to renewed interest. So prices were already inflated. I hadn't followed at all for years so it's all a shock. Lol
