Right now the final #COP30 Plenary is starting here in Belém. A good one hour later than announced and four hours latter than initially planned when we got up this morning.

While everybody is waiting for new information from the #cop30 presidency, this tweet reminds us that the blocking actors are on both sides of the negotiations table.
At #COP30 the EU poses as champion of a #fossilfuel fuel phase-out.
But it doesn’t need others to move first: it funds it, burns it, banks the profits, then points the finger South.
That’s not climate ambition – it’s demagoguery.
