This is the shipwreck on the beach at Lacanau that I was just rambling about on #freshingredients. In August 1937 the Cantabria, carrying hundreds of Spanish Republican refugees, ran aground in heavy surf off Lacanau after losing its way in the night. You can walk right around it at low tide.

There are awful lot of very polite ghosts & vampires in Brighton. We ran out of sweets v early and had to send hundreds of v reasonable visiting ghouls empty-handed. Then had a nice evening of records and reading.
