1st tweet: The reason why I wrote all of this isn't as an explanation for my relationship. But specifically to speak as a Black Man married to a white women and say unequivocally that the bullshit some negroes put on BW is just that. BULLSHIT. Don't let ashy fuccfaces get you twisted. 2nd: And to also make crystal fucking clear that my love for my wife does not supersede or replace my love for Black women. Im held up across various aspect of my life EXCLUSIVELY by BW. My wife doesn't negate their influence in my life or my love for them. 3rd: When I'm hurt, depressed, overjoyed, excited, I reach out to BW. They hold me down. Hell, they hold my WIFE down. They check in on HER to make sure she's good. So what's all this bullshit about again? 1st tweet cut off at beginning: shoulder to meltdown on. They would give advice and check in on me. If it wasn't for Black women I may not be married now. 2nd: And I assure you I wasn't as clearheaded on this shit 13 years ago as I am now. I had some serious learning to do. And BW helped me so much. In all honesty it was my BM friends who were feeding into the toxic narrative about BW & interracial relationships. 3rd: But I've been married for 5+ yrs and been w/ my wife for 12. The idea that I'm anti-Black because of the IR relationship that CONSTANTLY reminded me of my Blackness & highlighted the "White liberals™ pro-equality-in-public-just-not-with-my-daughter" mindset? Heh. Ok buddy. 1st tweet: I don't talk about the racial aspects of my relationship much outside of jokes. But I assure you there's shit that makes it really hard. And it ain't Black Women. My in-laws and "well meaning" white folks have been so much more of a problem than a BW could ever be. 2nd: In all honesty I'd argue it was proximity to whiteness that made quadruple down on my Blackness. Watching whiteness work in the entertainment industry & my wife's family up close & personal had me like "Oh hell no. Nope. Uh uh. What we NOT gon do is this..."
