I don't really use it (two caps then lowercase suffix is more effort than i am willing to put in lol) but I've never understood the contention either; it seems like a pretty reasonable demonym to use to be specific and explicit in word choice...

You'll notice it in places that are shielded from the elements though, like along windowsills or in a garage/shed. Looks like mouse poos.

But to answer your question literally, usually in the trees or grass. They poo as they please~

Squirrels poop all over the place but it's inert, odorless, dry, and most importantly, it doesn't hold the poop shape very long. It becomes just regular old "dirt" pretty quickly. It's similar to rabbit poo in that it's not super "active" & doesn't noticeably affect vegetation much.

Nothing to do with being trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, & reverent. Nothing to do with hard work, effort, & skill. Nothing to do with all of the basic scouting values.... it can only be "meritocracy" if it excludes girls. I see...
