Yes, I am screaming into the void again today.
I’ve supported a number of these things for years. Ranked Choice Voting is one of my top choices.
As to the others, I have never approved of Government by Reaction which is what the PATROT Act BS was and still is. Today’s ICE is just SS:DD.

Support House Bill 2210 for Ranked Choice Voting Implementation
Text SIGN PDHTSK to 50409 — I am writing to express my strong support for House Bill 2210, which would strengthen and secure fair elections in local governments through ranked choice voting. This bill represents a meaningful opportunity to improve democratic representation in Washington communities. Ranked choice voting addresses a fundamental problem in our current electoral system: candidates can win with only a plurality of votes rather than majority support. This reform ensures that elected officials truly represent the will of their constituents by requiring winners to achieve broader consensus. When voters can rank candidates in order of preference, elections better reflect community priorities and reduce the influence of vote splitting that can lead to unrepresentative outcomes. This system also encourages more civil campaigns. Because candidates benefit from being voters' second or third choice, they have incentive to appeal to a broader base rather than relying solely on negative campaigning against opponents. Communities that have implemented ranked choice voting report more substantive policy discussions and less divisive rhetoric during election seasons. House Bill 2210 specifically focuses on local government elections, where this reform can have immediate impact on city councils, county commissions, and other bodies that directly affect residents' daily lives. Local elections often feature multiple candidates with similar platforms, making ranked choice voting particularly valuable for distinguishing voter preferences and ensuring majority support for winners. The bill is currently scheduled for a public hearing in the House Committee on State Government & Tribal Relations. I urge you to support this legislation as it moves through the committee process and to vote yes when it reaches the floor. Ranked choice voting has proven successful in jurisdictions across the country, and Washington communities deserve the opportunity to adopt this system for fairer, more representative local elections. I appreciate your consideration of this important electoral reform.

🖋️ “Defund ICE and Support Elimination of the Agency” hit 100 signers!

Defund ICE and Support Elimination of the Agency
Text SIGN PHWWXS to 50409 — I am writing to urge you to oppose any new funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement and to support efforts to eliminate the agency entirely. With the January 30 shutdown deadline approaching for fiscal 2026 Department of Homeland Security funding negotiations, this is a critical moment to take a stand. The fatal shooting of Renee Good by a federal agent in Minneapolis on January 7 is the latest example of what Rep. Darren Soto accurately described as "a culture of violence" within ICE. Recent polling shows a plurality of voters now support eliminating ICE following this tragedy. The agency has demonstrated it cannot be reformed through incremental measures like body cameras or training requirements. Republicans have already provided ICE with $75 billion over the next decade through their party-line tax and spending package enacted over the summer, bypassing the traditional appropriations process. This is in addition to the nearly $11 billion granted in the fiscal year that ended in September. ICE has more than enough resources and has shown it will use them to perpetuate harm against immigrant communities. The argument that Democrats must fund ICE to impose oversight is fundamentally flawed. Providing additional funding legitimizes an agency whose core mission and culture are incompatible with humane immigration policy. The Congressional Progressive Caucus has taken the correct position by opposing new DHS funding unless there are meaningful and significant reforms, but even this does not go far enough. I urge you to vote against any appropriations bill that includes ICE funding and to publicly support eliminating the agency. Immigration enforcement can and should be handled through other mechanisms that prioritize human dignity and community safety. The time for half-measures has passed.

💬 Text SIGN PQPGDI to 50409
How Will You Stop Trump From Abusing The Insurrection Act?
Text SIGN PQPGDI to 50409 — The President of the United States is once again threatening to deploy our troops against American citizens. Trump has publicly warned that he is considering invoking the Insurrection Act to stop protests against state violence in Minnesota. Unlike the ICE and CBP agents Trump has sent in, who have already killed a legal observer and brutalized their targets and protesters alike, the folks exercising their First Amendment rights have been overwhelmingly peaceful. These are people who believe in our Constitution, and simply want our government to be held to it, too. What Trump is threatening is the stuff of tinpot dictatorships. One of the crucial protections that has kept America free and democratic has been our insistence that the military never be used as a political weapon against our own. That safeguard is being destroyed. It’s an affront to our most sacred values, and it’s dangerous as hell. If the President chooses to pull the trigger, you need to treat it as the dire emergency for our nation that it is. Have a strategy ready and be prepared to use whatever legislative or political tools you have available to take concrete and meaningful action. Strongly-worded letters and angry videos on social media won’t cut it. If you accept this as business as usual, that’s what it will become.

1. A few days ago, we reported that New Jersey Democrats were running out of time to pass their trans shield/sanctuary bill.

Sadly, it would appear New Jersey Dems failed to do so, making them one of the only blue states without such protections.

Fighting battles my grandmothers & mothers fought in the 19th & 20th centuries..
To be reliving the Nationalism, fascism & racism of a century ago.

For Brooke that entirely depends on whether it's 2003, 2006 or 2023.
2003 - At her peak, masks the ADHD really well, uses it to advantage as a Navl Intelligence Officer.
2006 - IED that puzzle good. The pieces are all there, but they don't look like the picture on the box.
2023 - good meds & therapy

Yes, this is accurate. For many years, the entire goal of transitioning was to be able to completely disappear as who we were and "Like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind."
But that part has not been possible for a few decades, and now, not at all.
The reason they're so focused on trans teens is that people who transition younger typically blend into society better. To the extent that they're willing to tolerate our existence in society at all, they'd rather we be easily identified by our appearance/voices/etc.
Cis people really have no idea how it feels to watch a regime hold a press conference to admit, on camera, the pogrom against trans people they've been waging for 11 months is not only real, but they're going to double down on genocide and try to wipe out all the children first.
