On Dec. 19 I had a Synvisc shot in my knee to alleviate arthritis pain. I've had it a few times before, no prob. This time, my knee "rejected" the Synvisc, filled with fluid and became so painful it took my breath away. I had 70ml+ fluid drawn out of my knee this week and it still hurts... 1/

I've been looking at the stunning linocut prints of William Hays, whose talent borders on genius. He started out as a painter, then taught himself how to do reductive linocut printing. This is breathtaking stuff.

I went for a Synvisc injection on 12/19 for my crunchy arthritic knee. The doctor nicked a blood vessel and my joint filled with blood. It hurts worse than arthritis ever thought of hurting and I can hardly walk. But I work in retail, so I have to be on my feet all day! Yay! 😭
