And the #SanDiego River looking East toward the prior photo. Temperature coming up slightly: still plenty chilly. The ducks were at this end of this section of the river between the roadways that tend to flood and strand vehicles when we get heavier rain.

I was out in the water while they were putting up and decorating the Christmas tree in funky Ocean Beach ( #SanDiego ) and as usual it leans a bit; in the bg, waves crash into the (retired, long story) pier. Thanks Ocean Beach Community Foundation for arboreal joy! #Beach #ChristmasTree

@dead.garden I gave up on Beeper - not because it was bad, but Instagram was (as per usual) a jerk. It marked my usage of Beeper as automated or otherwise unnatural to the IG system. But thanks so much for the suggestion! It was worth a try!

PB by the pier yesterday. Waves inconsistent but fun always. Overcast, threatened not quite drizzle. Look close and you can see a shirtless saxophone player warming up to play. Sounded like a dying goose before it sounded smooth and sexy. Charmed life I lead, frankly. #SanDiego #Beach #Panorama
