Fire and Ice. Sunrise this morning in Glastonbury.

For well over a decade now, the podcast episode I anticipate the most. Could also, if so inclined, chart a chunk of my past life just by listing the location and circumstances under which I've listened to them. 2025 sees me in a comfy armchair with a glass of wine but not making bets on 2026.

I have, for lots of reasons, a real issue with the linking of paranormal events with people's heritage. Also it only gets rolled out for certain experiences. "I have Irish roots" a person says after a suspected fae encounter yet I never hear about the importance of eg Greek DNA for Hekate encounters

I don't think I have ever seen such an intense flash of colour appear so quickly and disappear again as quickly. I really didn't see it coming as it was raining and grey on my walk so this was the best I could get. Photo taken this morning at the base of Glastonbury Tor.
