And that was chapter 7. Such a fun ride. Plowing through everyone using Bass' weapon then getting plowed through by Bass. As said previously, all chapters will now be there own separate threads, so look out for chapter 8. Whenever it happens.

I may not have played Mega Man 7, but I have heard the horror stories of the Wily capsule. I know how tough a foe he is. Put that into a DOOM-esque game, and that sounds like a challenge...
Easiest boss in the game. ...yep. no challenge at all. That's a fun bit of irony.

Super Bass wasn't remotely as hard. Only died to him twice. But the uneven platforms meant I could easily out manoeuvre him. And yeah, I didn't use the Rush adaptor. So you know what comes next...

Bass is easily one of the toughest bosses in the game so far! He's so quick, hits so hard, there's so few healing items. It's brutal!
Though, to my credit, I only died to him six times. The sixth-lowest amount of times I've died to a boss, so that's certainly something.

...Turbo man happened too, I guess. Quick Man finally became a competent opponent. Stone Man being there is odd. Stage is cool. That's abouts it.

Shade Man. Once I got, you guessed it, the Bass Buster, I became the monster ruling the castle! Though when I only had three kills left, Shadow Man suddenly locked in and became a serious threat. That was fun.

Cloud Man's stage is incredible. I love sky levels. Not only that, but I only suffered a single death. Once I got Black Hole, the other bots could only delay the inevitable.

The opening cutscene for Freeze Man's stage is so fun. Seeing him clash with Napalm and Flash Man. Though, why is Blizzard Man here? He's one of Mr X's guys. He should be a good guy again.

From this point on, the game kinda just adapts the canon games but with you as the hero (mostly), but I didn't want to fully do that story-wise, so here's a new reason for this adventure: a rescue mission!

We're finally back! Chapter 7 of Mega Man 8bit deathmatch! And what a fun chapter too. Though funnily enough, I've never actually played Mega Man 7. Let's dive on in (if needed, see previous MM8BDM posts for how this whole thing works)

Also this guy from the Rockman-san manga is like if you took Gnashavar's head bits and put them on his shoulder instead. It's a random background character, so obviously 100% not intentional, but hey, I'll take it. He stole Guts Man's leg, so maybe he can clone the guy in a later arc.

Lastly, Plasma TV man. This one is surprisingly similar to one of my OCs, Gnashavar! A stardroid minion who kept patching themselves up. Total coincidence, but it'd be fun if they were the same character, like a disguise, (Plasma TV man has ties to Ra Moon after all) so for now let's go with that.
