Listening tonight to Vashti Bunyan’s sublime second act album “Lookaftering” is due for a 20th anniversary reissue (actually happening!). This is the 2004 original, which I love because I am actively trying to have more destressing activities in my day. Now I need to seek out her autobio to read.

Small addendum, I did an homage to another WH record cover with a release of mine this year. Here’s the two covers. Not identical and I’m no graphic designer so I couldn’t match fonts or anything. No one has mentioned it so thought I’d say so, looking at it now it’s pretty rough on my end haha

This record lives up to its name. Very much of the season, falls right into place with stuff that makes me think of rainy nights in the Pacific Northwest. I’m riding the Windham Hill revival a little late, but there’s no bad time really.
