Really great and very insightful. I also do feel that he overlooks the importance of the soundtrack (sound and some cases music) in terms of haptics. All those close ups of hands touching stuff mean very little when there is no sound to ‘match’ with it.

Well there is some data in the article to back it up. An we do have free busses, not for everyone though, the elderly get free busses. Should we have more… perhaps. But the article is not entirely wrong, it talks about a vision of these things being free.. one should dream.
