Sad truth is actually: Canada’s job market has been pretty terrible. Unemployment was sitting around 7% in 2025 we technically dodged a recession in 2025 too. More people out of work, especially young people. So as always ranks will be filled by young and poor. No other real options.

Always open to more public transport but I don't understand the darkness comment. Cities have lights, bikes have lights and normally the creatures that bump in the night are of our own minds creation.

Well so far meeting some others in the program seems to be a mix of nurses, firefighters and almost exclusively people who love the outdoors.

I guess it makes sense when you love nature and care for others working in a field where you mitigate risks to both makes sense.
