One of my loneliest hobby horses is that a ton of the problems we have in the US right now are all very directly related to the constitution having been ossified via Article V, and unsticking it would resolve a ton of them

People paying attention are not looking for that. They're looking for changes. They're happening more dramatically and in quicker succession now. Trump is significantly weaker, but also it's clear he's not the one calling the shots. It's most likely Stephen Miller, and they don't like that.
