Trump over on Truth Social is spending this morning calling for the arrest, expulsion and "DEATH" by execution of Democratic Congress members

I tweeted about this before but big-nosed, big-eared money obsessed Ferengi with a numbered list of religious rules they observe, played on screen by Jewish actors, always seems to get a pass. And nobody's edited Watto out of the Phantom Menace, even though it was a minor scandal at the time.

Nah I'm pretty certain they're referring to their love of the land in the West Bank between Jerusalem and Maale Adumim.

Classical art gets so boringly realistic that Byzantium goes all kawaii manga stely in response.

For those who aren't keeping up, Mamdani is a Zionist now (for condeming swastika graffiti on a yeshiva)

Nah, Khan was a mainstream middle-of-the-road Labour type. Not a "scary leftie". He held the standard Labour positions on Israel in 2016 (though he's changed in the last 18 months). He wasn't an anti-Zionist. Middle East Eye even called him a Zionist!

I don't think Donald Trump will end up trying to run in 2028. Too many legal and constitutional barriers. But there will be GOP leaders contemplating "Trump on the ballot" and thinking about getting one of Trump's kids on the ticket. Vance/Don Jr 2028? Or vice versa?

These ones I can't even figure out. Google isn't helping me. What's a Mahpeta, Scrappy Dee, Bombo or TolMan Toe?

The costume options... oh dear.

Though I do wonder what a "Belgian" women's costume consisted of?

Remember, Taranto turned up with guns at Obama's house a few hours after Trump posted Obama's address on his Truth Social account. Taranto reposted the Trump post with the address so we know he saw it.

One unconfirmed report claims that popular TikTok reporter/influencer Saleh Aljafarawi was killed or captured by the Doghmush clan. An unverified image of his body has begun circulating in the last hour or so.

3. Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the Jewish year and a day when Jews, even those who aren't usually religious, flock to synagogue services. Some men even wear a kittel, a white gown said to resemble a burial shroud. An attack on Yom Kippur feels like an attack on Jewish life

"Al-Shamie" is an unusual (but not unique) spelling of the common Syrian surname Shami (ie "Syrian"). Which makes me raise at least one eyebrow at this 2012 interview with then-Tory MP John Howell:

I think you can do "the awful Democrats have forced this terrible shutdown, which we hate, on you. Boo to them!" OR you can do "Shutdowns are awesome and I'm going to use this shutdown to fuck you all over with Project 2025", but you can't do both.

Disappointingly, her boyfriend isn't a wizard or a time traveller, he just does all the household chores and drives her to work.

I was hoping for at least a Benjamin Button scenario.
