working a comedy show. both the openers no-showed, so my coworker (not a comedian) got on stage, had the sound guy intro him with a godsmack song, read a chaucer poem in middle english, then said "well, that's my time," and introduced the headliner. bravest thing i've ever seen. very high-concept.

uruguayan drivers are jumpy and irritable but you can control them. if you just look them in the eyes you can strike the fear of god into their hearts and they will yield to you. this does not work on argentinian drivers. they will run you down without mercy while staring right at you

every tyime i use a calorie tracker it has this same feature where it tries to compliment my nutritional choices in little side popups and it always struggles come up with anything good to say about mine its always like umm you sure eat a good amount of...cheese. thats kind of good for you. in a way
