QA by inspection is a mugs game, anyone who has been in operations will tell you this. It loses efficacy after about 30 minutes, your brain will "fill in" what it is expecting to see and miss the error.

Reviewing AI gen code is not only a lot of work, but it's mentally draining and it'd be extremely easy to gloss over things. I'm not sure many devs will have both the understanding of what large amounts of generated code is doing AND the copy editor-like skills and focus to get through it all.

The way AI generates code means it's a monumental task to review and sometimes just to make sense of it, and of course if the code is working, you'll be asked why you're taking so long to just get it out the door.
