23 years ago these babies who thought they knew everything married each other. Now, 6 moves, 7 college degrees, one baby and two dogs later, they finally know enough to know how very little they know. Happy anniversary to my Lobster. Thanks for unlearning all the things we thought we knew with me.

Please admire the very first limes that I grew all by myself!!! Last spring I bought a lime tree, a lemon tree, and a mandarin orange tree and they fertilized each other, so the lime was orange inside and was the loveliest tasting thing I’ve had since leaving Florida.

Meanwhile on Reddit… apparently cutesy poems with tortured metaphors and poor meter make up for generational trauma from polygamy as long as there are cookies and nothing actually uncomfy gets discussed (it looks like avoidance was the word of the day in many wards. I get it. Dissonance is hard).

Caught red tailed, stealing our pumpkin. This deer just scared the living daylights out of me (we have glass front doors- I was making sure they were locked and this deer decided to stand her ground and stare me down).

Fauci is refusing to let us take off his Halloween bandanna, even though it’s November now, so I just had to order him more in tasteful season appropriate plaids, because apparently he’s entered his dapper dog era and apparently I’m just going to go along with it? This dog owns me. #dogsky

Four years ago, we had two little wizards. Fauci was a puppy and it was our last Halloween with our Havanese, Ollie. He died of cancer about 6 months later. I love these pictures. #dogsky #dogsofbluesky

Happy Halloween!!! Throwback to the time that I was asked to do the ward Halloween party and a member of the bishopric tried to convince me that we should limit everyone to Bible or BOM costumes. The look I gave him had him scurrying away very quickly. He was absolutely asking the wrong person.

My teen just picked up his violin for the first time in 7 years, tuned it, and started playing like he’d never stopped. He fought me tooth and nail during his 6 years of lessons, but now that muscle memory is there and he’s finally at the point where he wants to play just for fun. Worth it.
