Then you know the drill: blankets, hot chocolate or tea, and a day spent inside.

I have always preferred a wintery beach. This is beautiful. I can imagine the wind.

I’m glad you have your sweet girl. There will be more snow days to come.

Thanks GP. Be safe with your shoveling. Does Sweet Pea like snow?

Beautiful, GP. The holidays are so densely packed with memories and feelings. I feel the presence of those who have passed on so much more vividly these days, and every little thing related to the holidays evokes glimpses of a past that is no more. 💜❄️

Good morning Jean. Your view is lovely as ever. We’re at 30° with snow for the next several hours. Stay warm. I’m thinking afternoon tea will be needed. ✨🫖😉

I spent an almost a month there in 1996 when I adopted my daughter (Moscow and Khabarovsk), then a couple of days in St Petersburg as tourists.

Thanks, GP. I was introduced to pelmeni when I was in Khabarovsk, Russia. We used to be able to get them in the Philadelphia area, but it’s been years since we have had them. It’s time to look for some markets around here, if there are any.
